Introduction

Hello everyone. My name is Derwyn Golden, founder of 21st Century Storyteller Productions, LLC. I’m pleased to offer a storytelling platform that includes story novels, comic books, and animated videos for all ages.

I always wrote poems and short stories as a child growing up in Detroit, Michigan and wanted to make a positive impact on our youth through positive messages in my writings.

I started my animation career in 2015, when I had the pleasure of meeting Danny Glover on October 31 of that year at the Charles H. Wright Museum in Detroit. He kindly encouraged me to share my work and provided his email after I published a manuscript. That conversation inspired me to produce animated videos. It took about seven months to complete my first one. I sent Mr. Glover a link, and while I didn’t receive a response, I remain grateful for his encouragement.
