2) Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we collect online and offline in connection with the Services. It does not cover third-party sites or services that we do not control.

3) Personal Information We Collect

“Personal information” (or “personal data”) generally means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with an individual or household.

a) Information you provide to us

  • Identifiers and contact data (e.g., name, email, phone, postal address).
  • Account and preference data (e.g., communication preferences, saved choices).
  • Content you submit (e.g., messages, form entries, reviews, comments, uploads).
  • Newsletter subscription data (e.g., email address, name if provided, interests/preferences, subscription source/page, and consent records such as timestamp and signup method; and where permitted, IP address).
  • Payment-related data handled by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Sensitive information only if you voluntarily provide it and where permitted; we minimize collection.

b) Information collected automatically

  • Device/usage data (IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, timestamps, referrers, approximate location).
  • Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for core functionality, analytics, and (where permitted) advertising measurement.

c) Information from third parties

  • Service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors, and our email/newsletter provider Mailchimp), advertising/marketing partners, and publicly available sources.

4) How We Use Personal Information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services.
  • Process transactions and send related information (e.g., confirmations, receipts, invoices).
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support.
  • Personalize your experience and deliver relevant content.
  • Measure and understand audience engagement and Service performance.
  • Newsletter and marketing communications (see Section 5). You may opt out at any time.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and legal/regulatory obligations.

5) Newsletter, Email Communications, and Marketing (Mailchimp)

If you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in to marketing communications, we may send you emails about updates, products, content, offers, events, and announcements. Subscription is optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

What we collect for the newsletter

  • Contact details (typically email address; name if you provide it).
  • Preferences (e.g., topics you choose, format preferences).
  • Subscription and consent records (e.g., signup page/source, time/date of signup, confirmation status, and—where permitted—IP address), which we may retain to demonstrate compliance and honor your choices.

How we send newsletters

We use Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp) to manage subscriptions and deliver emails. Mailchimp processes personal information on our behalf as a service provider/processor under its terms and data processing addendum.

Double opt-in (recommended)

Where appropriate, we may use a confirmation (“double opt-in”) step to verify that the owner of an email address requested the subscription. [IF YOU ENABLE DOUBLE OPT-IN IN MAILCHIMP, KEEP THIS; OTHERWISE YOU MAY REMOVE OR EDIT]

Email analytics and tracking (opens/clicks)

Our emails may include tracking technologies such as a small transparent image (a “tracking pixel”) and tracked links. When enabled, these help us understand email engagement (for example, whether an email was opened and which links were clicked) so we can measure performance and improve content. Some email providers may limit the accuracy of open tracking.

You can limit some email tracking by disabling images in your email client, using privacy features in your email software, or choosing not to click tracked links. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent for certain tracking.

Unsubscribing and managing preferences

  • You can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
  • You can also request removal by emailing privacy@21stcsp.com.
  • We maintain suppression lists (a record of emails that opted out) to ensure we honor unsubscribe requests. If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited information to prevent future sends to that address.
  • Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send transactional or service communications (e.g., order confirmations, security notices, or policy updates).

6) Cookies, Tracking, & Global Privacy Control

We use cookies and similar tools for essential operations, analytics, and—where permitted—advertising measurement. You can manage browser settings to limit cookies. Where legally required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for opt-outs of “sale”/“sharing” and targeted advertising, when detected by your browser.

  • Consent (e.g., certain cookies/marketing/newsletter where required),
  • Legal obligations.

8) How We Disclose Personal Information

  • Service providers / processors under contractual confidentiality and security obligations (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors, and Mailchimp for email delivery and newsletter management).
  • Advertising/analytics partners (where permitted by law and your preferences).
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets).
  • Legal and safety (to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights, security, and users).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your personal information.
